This book sounds great! I am an avid reader and am always looking for a new author to try. As far as detective/cop books, I love the J.D. Robb books right now. I already subscribe to you on Google Reader, which I must say is the best way to keep up with blogs!

This looks good. I'd love to read it. I don't have a favorite police/detective novel. It's not a genre I normally favor. Unless Nancy Drew and the Happy Hollisters count for detective work! ;)

This book sounds intriguing! I don't know if it counts as a detective series but I sure do enjoy Laurell K Hamilton's Anita Blake series. It's got mystery, intrigue and vampire / werewolf politics! What more can a gal ask for?

I'll read just about any genre, but my favorites are mysteries. I love anything from cozies to hard boiled to police procedurals. One of my favorite series is the Women's Murder Club series by James Patterson.
ReplyDeleteI would really like to read this book--I'd really like to start reading more mysteries and the Amish (especially in Ohio) seems like a really interesting place to start...I knew someone that had a farm near an Amish community in Indiana and we did the 'tour'/info thing. Anyway, it sounds like a book I would really enjoy.
